How HomeClear Works 🏡

Welcome to HomeClear! Here's everything you need to know to buy and sell.

Create an Account

Tap Create an Account on the welcome screen. Enter your name, verify your email with a code, add your address, then verify your phone number via WhatsApp.

Log In

Already have an account? Tap Log In and choose to log in with your Phone Number (via WhatsApp) or Email. You'll receive a 6-digit code — enter it to get in.

Browse Items

Scroll through the marketplace to find items. Use the search bar to search by name, or tap a category pill (e.g. Furniture, Electronics) to filter items.

View an Item

Tap any item card to see full details — photos, condition, price, location, and seller info. Tap a photo to view it fullscreen. Swipe left/right to browse multiple photos.

Contact a Seller

Interested in an item? Tap the 💬 Chat on WhatsApp button inside the item detail. It will open WhatsApp with a pre-filled message to the seller.

Sell an Item

Tap + Sell in the top right. Fill in your item's title, category, condition, price, location, and description. Add up to several photos. Tap Publish Item when ready.

Manage Your Listings

Go to 📦 My Items to see all your listings. You can mark items as Sold ✅, relist them ↩, or delete them 🗑. Your stats (total, active, sold, earned) are shown at the top.

Payment & Collection

All payments are made in cash on the day of collection. Meet the buyer/seller at the address listed. Please price your items fairly and honestly.
